Sunday Truth in Deep Love🤗🙏

“There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others, but if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when He judges you.” James 2:13
As we segue into Holy Week, wrap up the Lenten season, and move into Easter, I look forward to the “rebirth” that’s happening in our parish as our new pastor Father Matt brings “new life,” a “resurrection” of our own, and leads us into new pursuits and purposes rooted in scripture and “Marked by Mercy,” which has been our Lenten theme this year.
I pray that we all find ways to render mercy as we move forward into these drastically changing times, as we are all sinners, and we all have habits, personality quirks, and flaws that put us on a level playing field with God, whether we like to admit it or not.
To dive deeply, and engage with the living homeless and poor who surround us. To help those struggling with poverty, and addiction. To find ways to turn “unwanted pregnancies” into happy viable children with deep purpose in life. To help the plethora of “fatherless children” out there who need structure and balance in their lives, that their lives might matter, regardless of their race or social situation. To draw people out of their “socio-political boxes,” and to draw them into God’s Kingdom where only love matters.
To stop “talking,” and to start “walking,” and making sure we’re in step with Jesus, for only He will carry us Home, as He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life.
If we aren’t already immersed in service, I pray that each of us finds a “way” to dive deeply into physical service and learn what’s really happening out there as opposed to sitting in glass houses “talking” about it and fomenting division amongst each other. To listen and learn, as opposed to trying to be the “expert” on matters in which we really aren’t. And above all, to love deeply, for only through deep deep love, can we remain all in, and totally His.❤️🙏

Mercy
My child, I shall show mercy on those who have not been merciless! Have mercy on those to whom you wish Me to show mercy.
Do not show any favoritism. Have mercy on all, for all be-
long to Me.
My people pray for mercy, yet, they do not practice it. Those, who do not know of My Mercy are better off than those who do know it, but will not practice it on their neighbor. Better to be blind and not see, than to see and act blinded!
