The Inclusion Delusion
A few decades ago, my favorite hobby was bashing Christians via “Letters to the Editor” of the Frederick News Post, mostly because of the way I saw them treating gay people, and trying to “oppress” society at large via their “silly little rules.” I was also one of those trying to keep the Ten Commandments off of public property, because, you know, “separation of church and state.”
One of the main themes of my “activism,” was that “what people do in their bedrooms is none of our business,” and I still stand by that for the most part. The problem we have today is that there are factions out there who want everyone to know what they’re doing in their bedrooms, because, well, “understanding and inclusion.”
Having been drawn to Jesus, albeit “kicking and screaming,” I now see vividly the errors of my past ways, and have been tasked to speak truth in these matters.
Sadly, half of society as well as elements in our church are participating in what I like to call the “inclusion illusion,” removing any semblance of accountability, whether it’s “sexual accountability,” (promiscuity, abortion) being responsible enough to procure identification before one votes, qualification to perform a given task responsibly or safely, or whatever else this gross band of enablers tries to pull that might allow them to remain politically relevant in the eyes of the easily manipulated. They cry for “free and open access to abortion” claiming that denial of such “compromises women’s health care,” when about 95% of abortions in America have more to do with irresponsibility and “convenience” than they do women’s health. They want to point fingers, play the victim, and “blame men,” as opposed to calling for some semblance of “self accountability,” as they extinguish the lives of about 3000 unborn a day without even “having a conversation” about accountability. “Feminarcissists,” who think men shouldn’t even be entitled to an opinion on the matter because, well, it’s “all about them” and their “collective feelings” They care more about feelings and ego than they do the DNA complete lives that they’re extinguishing in the name of “choice,” when 95% of the time they already made that choice. Sadly, today’s “feminist movement,” tries to call itself the “women’s movement,” or “women’s march,” when more than half the women out there have no interest in being “included in their follies.” Just like a large portion of gay, lesbian, and transgender people have no interest in being identified with the “pride” movement, yet, our church has fallen so far into this illusion, that factions have gone so far as to wrap our church logo in the “Pride flag,” so we can “appear inclusive.” Pride, the deadly sin which goeth before a fall.(Proverbs 16:18) It doesn’t matter that we’re alienating more than half the church by adapting that symbology, as long as we’re being inclusive to “those who think like us.”
We preach the scripture that enables, but we skip over the aspects that keep us accountable, and it actually surprises me that there are still lines at the confession booth in church, when “Church” is falling further and further away from even recognizing sin for what it is.
All are welcome in God’s Kingdom, and what one does in their bedroom is between them and God. I will love you regardless, but the politics of “feminism” as we understand it in America, and “pride”are anathema to everything we teach and believe, and God is not going to be mocked on Judgement Day, as He already knows how His Church is being split from within by factions that are hell bent on evil. We fall under an archdiocese that’s in a state of Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection from all the payouts due to predatory priests and bishops who are still being protected and leading cushy lives, yet they still have audacity to ask us for more money for the causes that we’re actually supposed to stand for. Can anyone actually name a “predatory priest” from the Archdiocese of Baltimore? I can’t. Cash goes out by the hundreds of thousands, but there are no “heads on spits.” To think this problem has gone away is grossly naive at best.
This “watering down” and selectivity is in the name of politics, and there are in fact “mafias” as they call them within the Church from the “top down” trying to keep things that way, leaving sand where the “rock” that Jesus entrusted to Peter tries to remain standing.
I love that our churches are packed, but millstones will be waiting for anyone who leads our flock away from Truth, so we must absolutely positively pray for our Pope, our priests, and for our Church, that it not be led into the abyss of “popular” godless ideologies that reject accountability and enable sin on a global level.
Being all in and totally His absolutely positively requires worldly detachment, and our task as Christians is to bring the world to Jesus, not to “redesign Jesus” to accommodate the world. God’s Kingdom is not of this world,” (John 18:36) and our responsibility as Christians is to keep that detachment intact, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. May we remain fully and wholly on His path, as we walk each other Home to Him.❤️🙏
